Ursus Oenipons

Instead of hibernating, this seldom brown bear species ( "Tyrolean Ski Bear" or "Ursus Oenipons" in Latin) prefers the amusement of skiing in the winter season. At night he usually sleeps in comfortable chalets, preferably 5 star hotels but he is also open to night life. To finance his extravagant and luxury lifestyle he often works as a ski guide or mugs clueless winter tourists.

Some years ago I drew those cartoons about our local politicians here in Tyrol to show how fast they grow old once they are in office and are confronted to all the problems and headwind that leading politicians usually get.
Barack Obama is one example that came into my mind during the midterm elections.
